Today we went to a local farm and picked our own fresh strawberries. The weather was great and the strawberries were delicious. Sam, of course, slept through the whole ordeal. Something about being outside puts him right to sleep. For anyone visiting before June, and for anyone living in the Charlotte area, we recommend this place: Hall Family Farm. You even get a dollar discount for picking your own strawberries, which is half the fun.
For those of you wondering what we did to deserve such a calm, easy-going baby, you can stop wondering now. Since last night, we've had to deal with (at times) a fussy, crying, frustrated child, just like every other parent. We're learning quickly how to deal with the episodes, though. Just one of the joys of parenthood.
Photos of the strawberry picking are in the Photo Gallery, as well as some additions to the "April 2008" album.

Not to be a know-it-all grandma, but....when a previously very calm breast-fed baby suddenly becomes a fussy baby, you have to first think about what Mom consumed that day and the previous day.
Sam is so cute! I love all the pictures and video's - I hope his eyes stay blue like his Mom's! :-)
