A couple weeks ago, Juliette had her first documented social smiles. She smiled about five times, and none of them were followed by pee, poop, burp, or gas. So we're pretty sure they were real. And we caught them on camera! The date was September 18th, which means Juliette Ribar had her first recorded smiles on Juliane Ribar Aurila's birthday (coincidence?). Since that day, the smiles began to pick up steam, and now when she wakes up, she loves to smile at whoever is looking at her. We managed to photograph a few of the first.

In another first, Sam recently rode his bike up our sloped driveway for the first time. He's becoming quite the bike rider. We went to a local greenway this past weekend, and Sam rode his bike about 4 miles.

When Sam got this shirt two weeks ago, he put it on and said, "I think something's wrong." Well, something was wrong and extremely funny. Dave fixed the problem and showed him what was wrong. This past Sunday, Sam did the same "wrong" thing while putting the shirt on, but he was oblivious to the problem. See if you can notice what we are talking about.
