All My Rowdy Friends

We had to move all of Sam's books and toys while a piece of furniture was being delivered. By chance, all the stuff animals ended up on the chair, staring at us. We plopped Sam down, he smiled on cue, and we got the picture you see above. All of the animals are gifts from family and friends -- too many to mention individually, so we'll just thank you all.

Last week Sam went to have his three month old picture taken, and he was a pro. He just loves to smile and make noises. In fact on Wednesday, he had his first real giggle. He was laughing at silly sounds his mom was making. Also this past week, he graduated to sleeping in his pajamas with no swaddling blanket, which makes his mom and dad very happy (it's so much easier to put him to bed now).

Our next door neighbor had a baby boy on Thursday, and we met him today. Sam looked like a giant compared to the newborn. Speaking of our neighbors, 6 out of 7 houses in a row on our street have had babies in the past 10 months. We've verified 4 of them are boys, and we think the others are too. There are also 2 newborns across the street and another on the way. Sam's class is going to be filled with kids from Daltrey Lane.
