This week, Dave had his first business trip since Sam's birth, which meant that Melanie was on her own for three days. The timing was bad, because Sam has not been sleeping well at all. But Melanie toughed it out, and Mom and Sam survived (and the house did not burn down). So all in all, it was a success. Dave was happy to see that Sam remembered him, as you can see here.
In other news, we received a nice gift (a 4th of July outfit) from Sam's Uncle Eddie, Aunt Brenda, and cousin Zack. Also included was a homemade "The Best Cousin Award" from Zack. It was a great award -- here's the other side (notice it spells out "SAM") -- and we are really excited. We didn't even know Sam was nominated for the award. Thank you Zack!
