It's been so long since the last post, this feels like a Christmas letter. We have lots of big news to share, and we'll do it one child at a time. There are many new photos in the March and April links to the right.

| Melanie took the kids to Hilton Head (while Dave stayed home and painted), and they had a great time with Nanah and Nadah. They also did a lot animal-related activities. |
Samuel
Sam turned 7 in April! He celebrated by having his first ever sleepover party. He invited two close friends, and they spent the night watching videos in their sleeping bags. Their goal was to make it to midnight, and they succeeded. He is doing very well in school, and he's currently playing flag football. Sam's big news is that he finally passed all six levels of swim class. It took four years and a lot of work, but he was determined to do it. After his last class, they presented him with a trophy in front of everyone. Congratulations Sam!

Elizabeth
Elizabeth turned 5 in March! She was very happy to get a bike with no training wheels from Nunny and Pap Pap. But she's still learning to balance, and we actually put the training wheels on this past weekend so she could get more confidence. She celebrated her birthday by having a Frozen Tea Party with some preschool girlfriends. Liz will start Kindergarten in the fall. Elizabeth's big news is that she just took on a roommate.

Juliette
Juliette will turn 3 in August. As part of a room reshuffling, she moved in with Liz (and Sam moved in to Juliette's old room, freeing up Sam's old room for the nursery). Juliette and Liz are currently sharing a bed, but it's a challenge every night to get them to go to sleep. So this arrangement may quickly turn into separate beds or bunk beds. Juliette will start preschool in the fall. Her latest cute saying is "hold you, hold you", which means "please hold me". Juliette's big news is that she just started swim classes. She was so excited, but also a little confused because she is so used to just watching from the sidelines.

Thing 1 and Thing 2
Our big news is that we are expecting twins! And Sam and Dave are happy to report they are twin boys. Actually, we are all happy, and we are currently busy getting the nursery (and everyone else's bedrooms) ready. There is a lot to do before August, but things will work out, as they always do.

| Not a great picture, but this was the moment at the ultrasound where the technician told all of us we were having twin boys |
