Dance Party

Sam and Liz are finishing up school, and Juliette is finally getting the hang of this talking thing. She's adding new words to her vocabulary every day. Photos of Easter/Mother's Day/Hilton Head are in the April/May links to the right.

In addition to talking more, Juliette is getting more aggressive with her climbing. Here she is on Sam's bed.

 

Sam ran a 1-mile fun run. This was part of the annual Ballantyne 5k/10k that we usually run.  He was a little nervous at the start, since he ran with hundreds of strangers.  But he did very well for a 6-year-old, finishing in 11 minutes.  Here's the start (he's in a dark blue shirt near the orange cones).

 

Here's the finish.  As you can see, most parents ran with their kids.  But we were the dummies that told him he had to do this by himself.

 

The kids are really getting into "dance parties" and "dance shows", instigated by Elizabeth.  Here are a few samples.  In the first, Sam is "break-dancing".
