We went to Pittsburgh in early June. In typical fashion, we ate, ate, and ate some more. As a bonus, Uncle Joe broke out the accordion (with lyric sheets!). We made great time on the long drive to and from, but for various reasons both trips in the car were painful.

In non-Pittsburgh news, Juliette can now pull herself up to a standing position (if the conditions are right). And after a long lull, she has teeth numbers 3-6 coming in as we speak. We can safely say Elizabeth is potty trained, a week after starting. Good job, Lizzie! And lastly, we got a surprise when Sam passed his 4A swimming class. They usually tell you half-way through the class if you will pass. But Sam didn't clear all the requirements until the very last day. On to level 4B!
This is the first time Juliette pulled herself up to standing. She did it while no one was around. Luckily, Melanie found her, grabbed the camera, and got it on film.
While on a family ride/run on the greenway, Sam got up close and personal with a deer.
Silly Liz still likes to pretend she's a baby.
Lillian and family visited this past weekend for some quality pool time.
One last bit of Pittsburgh news. It is June 30, and not only are the Pirates in first place, they amazingly have the best record in all of baseball!
