Also...
- Liz will begin her first swim lessons this Friday. She's been talking about it for months, but it's probably a 50/50 chance that she'll either love it or have a Santa Claus-like freak out.
- Even though Juliette first rolled over (front to back) in November, she just recently rolled over from back to front for the first time. And today seemed to be the first day she put it all together, rolling all over the floor to get her toys.
- On Melanie's birthday we finally joined the 20th century and upgraded to smartphones. We even dropped our landline. This must have been the seventh sign, because as we were purchasing the phones, a flash snowstorm hit Charlotte. It was crazy. It started raining when we were in the Verizon store. Ten minutes later it turned to flurries. Ten minutes after that it turned into a snowstorm. And 10 minutes after that there were 1-2 inches on the ground. It was a wild night, but a fun next day. It's always a race in Charlotte to build a snowman (or snowbunny) before the afternoon sun melts the snow.
