Halloween was a success. Sam had one of the best costumes in the neighborhood, but unfortunately he also had the least functional costume in the neighborhood. But he didn't care. Watching him blindly reach for candy was both sad and cute. Sam lasted a full hour before Finn just became too heavy for him. It was perfect timing, because that was when the harness broke apart. Liz also had a good time, even though she got tired of walking after 15 minutes. By the end of the night Dave was carrying Liz in one arm and Sam's costume in the other. Juliette, meanwhile, seemed to put up with everyone just fine. She made it to about 5 houses before turning in for bed.

In other news, Juliette is starting to laugh and giggle. She is also just realizing that her hands belong to her and that she can reach and grab things. Sam went on a non-stop coloring spree this week. Check out the November photos to see his work. And Liz got a new jacket that she loves.
